宗教婚葬禮成非法宗教活動 中共嚴厲查禁抓捕參與信徒

對中國佛教徒、道士與民間信仰者來說,為死者唸經超度是喪葬儀式中的一部分,然而,中共政府卻將這種傳統視為「封建迷信活動」。

遼寧省一名居士(佛教)在4月和6月,兩次因為死者唸經超度遭警察抓捕拘留,罪名是「擅自設立宗教場所開展封建迷信活動」。

在他第二次被捕後,6月底,當地政府僱用近80人將該居士用於唸經超度的房屋拆毀,屋內佛教用品全部沒收。
